About Us

Psychology Circle, a non-profit organization rooted in South India, is an emerging and leading organization in inculcating organizational and humanitarian values among students, teachers, professionals and research scholars from Psychology discipline.

Since its inception in 2016, it has been a united and uniting organization of students pursuing Psychology discipline in degree level, master level and doctoral level. Moreover, Psychology Circle holds membership from reputed clinical psychologists, teachers and professionals in various fields of psychology.

Circle believes in taking action in order to empower individuals associated with Psychology, so that the public is benefited from the best psychological services. The Circle has been taking cautious steps in promoting and empowering healthy and scientific practices in the field, thereby supporting popular and well-established practitioners in the region.

Our Journey So Far

  • The First Psychology summit was held at St Joseph College, Devagiri in Calicut district in April 2017 and it marked the official launch of this group, the journey continues through the Research circle, Training circle and Community Circle.
  • On October 10, 2018, Psychology circle observed World Mental Health Day in 20 colleges across Kerala.
  • National Psychological Training Conference- NPTC was held at MES College, Kodungallur in February 2019.
  • Pre-summit conferences are also conducted in the South Kerala and North Kerala, for reaching out to more colleges.
  • Continuous Psychology Education- CPE- is a monthly programme, focuses in imparting the foundations of Psychology to common people.
  • Career guidance sessions are also regularly conducted to provide better outlook about the avenues in higher education.
  • NET Coaching classes have also started to equip the emerging psychologists.
  • In short, psychology circle is a movement by the students and; of the students for building new endeavors in Psychology.
  • The flood and landslides that wreaked havoc across Kerala in August 2019, made the crew of Psychology Circle to form a new paradigm in providing Psychological First Aid and empowerment at the flood relief camps.
  • The bonding and fellowship among circle members makes this organization closer to the hearts of delegates, even those who are attending for the first time. So, our programmes often receive extensive participation of students and professionals across Kerala and from other regions.
  • Psychology Circle is an association of like-minded Psychology professionals, students, academicians, researchers aiming to promote scientific practices in different areas of Psychology.
